There are legislated minimum seperation distances required between your septic system and your home and well, neighbouring homes and wells and nearby bodies of water. Respecting these distances and planning your lot accordingly will lead to a healthier enviroment and longer lasting septic system.

- 15m from a watercourse
- 3m from lot line
- 5m from shed
- 5m from house/deck
- 5m from pool
- 15m from drilled well
- 30m from dug well
